HOW TO PUT YOUR 14-NEWER HARLEY IN TRAILER TRANSPORT MODE
1. Make sure to have your key fob close to your bike.
2. Turn your ignition switch to the "on" position.
3. Before the security light on the dash goes out, turn the ignition switch back off.
4. Press and hold both turn signals at the same time.
5. The lights will flash, now you are in transport mode.
To get your bike out of transport mode...
1. Be sure to have your key fob close.
2. Turn your ignition switch to the "on" position.
3. Your ready to ride!
HOW TO PUT YOUR 13-OLDER HARLEY IN TRAILER TRANSPORT MODE
1. Make sure you have your key fob close to your bike
2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ignition" position (make sure that the engine cut off switch is in the off position)
3. Turn your ignition switch to the "accessory" position
4. Press and hold both turn signals, they will flash once
5. Turn your ignition switch back to the "off" position, your lights will flash again
6. Your bike is in transport mode
To get your bike our of transport mode...
1. Make sure to have your key fob close
2. Turn the ignition switch to the "on" position
3. Set the engine cut off switch to run
4. Your ready to ride!

HOW TO ENTER A CUSTOM PIN # FOR YOUR 14-NEWER HARLEY SECURITY SYSTEM
Everyone with a security system should set up a custom PIN # for their H-D security system.
1. You need to have your key fob close to the bike
2. Make sure that the kill switch is in the "off" position
3. All together, turn your ignition switch on followed by a kill switch sequence of "on, off, on, off, on", press your left turn signal twice and then your right turn signal once. This will pull up a generic 5 # pin
4. Once you see the 5 # pin, Your left turn signal will allow you to scroll through the numbers, your right turn signal will move you to the next numbers position. Continue with this until you have successfully entered the 5 # PIN you want.
5. To save the PIN you entered, turn kill switch to "off" and then turn the ignition switch off.
**Make sure that you wright down your new PIN # and keep it somewhere safe.
HOW TO BYPASS YOUR 14-NEWER HARLEY SECURITY SYSTEM
This will come in handy if you loose your key fob or if your key fob battery dies.
1. Turn your ignition switch on
2. Quickly press the left turn signal
3. On the screen you will see "enter pin"
(Note: your left turn signal will scroll through the numbers in that place, your right turn signal will move to the next numbers position)
4. Press the left turn signal to see the first number, use the left turn signal to arrow through #s 1-9 press the right turn signal to move to the next number position.
5. Follow step 4 through until the 5th # of your PIN.
6. Press the right signal one more time and you are ready to ride.
**If you are unable to get home or to a dealership for a new key fob or key fob battery, you will have to manually enter your PIN # any time you kill your bike.
HOW TO BYPASS YOUR 13-OLDER HARLEY SECURITY SYSTEM
This will come in handy if you ever loose your key fob or the battery dies in your fob.
1. Turn your ignition switch to the "on" position
2. Hold both the right and left turn signals until "enter pin" pops up on the screen
3. Enter your PIN immediately!
4. Hit your right turn signal one last time after you select the last number of your PIN. This will submit the PIN and allow you to start your bike.
***NOTE: you will use your left turn signal to scroll through the number selection (1-9) and your right turn signal will advance you to the next numbers position.
*** If you are unable to get home or to a dealership for a new key fob or key fob battery, you will have to manually enter your PIN # any time you kill your bike.

3. Immediately followed by pressing your left turn signal 3 times and then pressing your right turn signal 1 time.
4. You should see 5 #s on the screen with first one flashing.
5. Use your turn signals to scroll through and advance until you have entered your last desired number
6. Turn your ignition switch off to set the new PIN #
***NOTE: you will use your left turn signal to scroll through the number selection (1-9) and your right turn signal will advance you to the next numbers position.
** Be sure to wright down your new PIN # and keep it somewhere safe.
HOW TO ACCESS AND CLEAR YOUR ECM'S FAULT CODES
1. Hold down your trip button and turn on the ignition switch ( hold until gauges go down)
2. You will see "diag" come up on the screen
3. Press your trip button to scroll through the code list (it will show a Y beside the code type if there is codes and an N if it is clear)
4. Turn your ignition switch off to exit diagnostic mode
Viewing your codes:
If you see a Y beside any of the code types, press and hold the trip button and it will show you the code number and type. Continue to press your trip button to see all of the codes. (be sure to write down the codes as you go)
